Dr. Traidl-Hoffmann has been awarded the FEAACI in 2020 for her continuous excellence on environment-human and environment-environment interaction with a focus on the barrier function of border surfaces, and the effects of climate change on environment and health.

Giorgio Walter Canonica

Dr. Canonica has been awarded the FEAACI in 2020 for his continuous excellence in investigating the different T Iymphocytes subsets and their functional role in basic and clinical research (Allergy, Organ specific autoimmunity, CNS degenerative diseases and cancer), and the molecular events and interactions between immunocompetent cells.

 papadopoulos   Nikos Papadopoulos

Dr. Papadopoulos has been awarded the FEAACI in 2020 for his continuous excellence in understanding of the role on infections in asthma, and basic, translational and clinical aspects of allergy, from molecule characterisation to clinical trials.
 johnston   Sebastian Johnston

Dr. Johnston has been awarded the FEAACI in 2020 for his continuous excellence in addressing the mechanisms of acute exacerbations of asthma and interactions between respiratory infections and allergic disease, and development of human and mouse in vivo models of rhinovirus

Dr. Cezmi Akdis has been awarded the FEAACI in 2019 for his continuous excellence in the field and major discoveries on mechanisms of immune tolerance to allergens, mechanisms of eczema, human Treg cells, human Breg cells, human ILCreg cells, role of histamine receptor 2 in immune tolerance, first papers on antigen-specific T cell plasticity.

Gennaro d'Amato

Dr. Gennaro d'Amato has been awarded the FEAACI in 2019 for his continuous excellence in the field and major discoveries  related to factors driving the increase in respiratory allergic diseases, especially in urban areas with high air pollution and more generally the impact of climate change and air pollution.

Dr. Barry Kay has been awarded the FEAACI in 2019 for his continuous excellence in the field and major discoveries  related to the role of eosinophils and T cells in allergy and asthma.
 Torsten Zuberbier   Torsten Zuberbier

Dr. Torsten Zuberbier has been awarded the FEAACI in 2019 for his continuous excellence in the field and major discoveries  related to the 
role of mast cells in allergy, and the establishment of long-term cult model of human skin mast cells.
