JM Assembly

  • About Us

    The Junior Members (JMs) represent the largest EAACI Section consisting of more than 4000 clinicians and scientists under the age of 36 years. Over the years, EAACI has developed specific activities to support and increase the influence of the younger members within the Academy. Therefore, JMs have been enjoying a rising number of benefits, some of which are listed as following:

    • Free access to EAACI Educational Resources at eaaci.org
    • Free online access to EAACI Journals:

        -> Allergy
        -> Clinical and Translational Allergy, with selected papers for JMs
        -> Pediatric Allergy & Immunology, with selected papers for JMs

    • Access to the online Members Area at www.eaaci.org
    • Reduced registration fees for the Annual Congress, Focused Meetings, and Allergy Schools
    • Online and print edition of the EAACI Newsletter

    Furthermore, JMs can apply for:

    • Positions within the JM Assembly (JMA) Board
    • Research and Clinical Fellowships
    • Mentorship Programme
    • Travel grants to attend Allergy Schools and Focused Meetings
    • Scholarships to attend EAACI Congresses

    The JMA Board is the representative body of EAACI JMs; it is composed of a Secretary, one representative from each of the 5 EAACI Sections, and of the 6 EAACI Interest Groups, and myself as the Chair. The Past JM Chair has an advisory role in the JMA Board. Please read more on the JM WG Procedure here.

    All of us in the JMA Board 2017-2019 are very enthusiastic and determined to devote our time and efforts to ensure that Juniors are always in the center of all EAACI activities. Follow our updates on these JM pages at eaaci.org as well as on Facebook, and Twitter and stay tuned!
