EAACI is seeking experienced individuals for the positions of Knowledge Hub Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor, to be part of an important team dedicated to the growth of the Academy.
EAACI takes pride in being a global leading reference body for scientific, health and political organisations in the field of allergy, asthma and clinical immunology, with over 13‘000 members.
The EAACI Knowledge Hub is a platform designed to combine EAACI’s digital initiatives as well as providing a point of reference for scientific education, knowledge dissemination, professional networking, research development discussions and much more. The eLearning platform is the first element of the EAACI Knowledge hub, and will host webcasts, podcasts, lectures, event sessions and assessments, collected and uploaded in a continuous manner throughout the year.
Editor-in-Chief
- • responsible to run the current activities of the EAACI Knowledge Hub
- • to have regular meetings with the deputy Editors and Editorial Board
- • report to BoO and EAACI Executive Committee during regular meetings
- • solicit the submission of high-quality Contributions to the Knowledge Hub platform
- • evaluate submitted contributions, in accordance with the editorial policy
- • select suitable Contributions for the review process for the Knowledge Hub
- • arrange for and supervise the independent peer review of suitable Contributions if applicable
- • ensure that the corresponding Contributor of an accepted Contribution declares any potential conflicts of interest
- • make best efforts to ensure the currency and accuracy of the contents of each Contribution
- • supervise proper financial policy according to the SOP
Deputy Editor
- • will support and report directly to the Editor-in-Chief
- • support the Editor-in-Chief in all aspects of Knowledge Hub activities

Term of appointment
In accordance with the EAACI bylaws the term of this position will be for two years, with the option of re-election for a further two years, under the condition of eligibility.
