    The European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) is a non-profit association of clinicians, researchers and allied health professionals, dedicated to improving the health of people affected by allergic diseases.

    With more than 12,000 members from 124 countries and over 70 National Allergy Societies, EAACI is the primary source of expertise in Europe for all aspects of allergy.
    For our EAACI Headquarters based in Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for a full time (100%) highly motivated Scientific Marketing Officer (m/f) to join our international team of 17 employees.

    Main responsibilities:

    • Support the dissemination and the promotion of EAACI’s scientific achievements, in close collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Scientific Development Officer
    • Develop and implement marketing plans of internal publications and scientific resources (position papers, book and guidelines) and the organisation’s official journals visibility (online and during relevant scientific events with the creation of brochures, promotional gifts, etc).
    • Elaborate and schedule corporate emails for the promotion of the organisation’s scientific activities (email platform management, main contact point for content collection, design adaptation).
    • Manage the corporate social media accounts, including creation and scheduling of relevant posts, development of relevant artwork, and implementation of various awareness campaigns
    • Manage and develop the corporate website (develop new concepts, constantly update information and align with corporate design)
    • Manage the translation in different languages, in collaboration with different national society partners, of the internal publications of the association
    • Coordinate the alignment of the corporate branding for all marketing activities of scientific nature
    • Management of external graphic designer for resources development

    Your profile - Must have
    University degree or higher education in Marketing or Life science university degree
    At least 3 years of experience working in a marketing position
    Full command of English, both written and oral
    Willingness to participate in weekend assignments at international meetings and congresses

    Your profile - Nice to have
    Proficient level in Illustrator, Photoshop, inDesign
    Professional experience in a Life Sciences environment
    Professional experience in a non-profit organization
    Experience in project management
    Experience in social media management
    First-hand experience with website design
    Additional languages (any Europe language, mainly German and French is a plus)
    Easiness to understand basic scientific focus of a publication

  • IT Trainee

    With more than 12,000 members from 124 countries and over 70 National Allergy Societies, EAACI is the primary source of expertise in Europe for all aspects of allergy.

    For our EAACI Headquarters based in Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for a full time (100%) highly motivated IT Trainee (m/f) to join our international team of 17 employees. The position is for a one-year contract, with the possibility to join on a permanent basis.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Monitoring and troubleshooting the office IT infrastructure (external servers, shared drive, O365 solutions)
    • First level support to team members, determining hardware and software issues
    • Maintaining current IT systems and enhancements implementations
    • Responsible for subprojects for CRM/ERP implementation in collaboration with external agencies and relevant HQ team members
    • Contribute to further development and maintenance of EAACI’s internal digital platforms
    • Managing the EAACI Membership database, providing direct support to EAACI members

    Your Profile

    • Recently graduated in a computer-based discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent experience
    • IT know-how is a must - either gathered through your studies or through an internship in the IT field
    • Very good knowledge of web content management systems and HTML/CSS
    • Some project management experience within the IT field
    • Experience in producing technical specifications
    • Understanding of CRM software and marketing automation and its effective use would be an asset
    • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms (e.g. webinars, surveys, event management)
    • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with board members, stakeholders and headquarters team
    • Experience in working in an international/multicultural environment as well as in a professional medical society/association or non-profit organisation would be an asset
    • Self-motivated and willing to learn and develop new skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication in English

    This position is an exciting opportunity to further develop your digital skills in a dynamic and fast-paced international environment whilst gaining practical experience. The IT Trainee reports directly to the Organisational Development Specialist.
