At ICE Krakow

At the EAACI Hybrid Congress 2021, we are making sure that the onsite faculty, delegates, exhibitors, and EAACI staff and partners can easily make the most out of our Congress according to effective and up-to-date health and safety measures. In collaboration with the Congress venue, the ICE Krakow Congress Centre, EAACI is taking every necessary precaution so that we can hold our Annual Congress according to the highest standards recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). In addition, it has received the “MICE Venue Hygiene Certificate” issued by the Polish Tourism Organization – available here.

In order to ensure a safe congress, the following measures will be in place:

  • Limitation of number of participants to the congress and inside the room to guarantee physical distancing.
  • Designated Medical professionals will be located on site to assist as appropriate.
  • Temperature check for all visitors entering the venue
  • Promotion of use of hand sanitizers. The required sanitizer dispensers are available in designated and marked places, including near entrances and exits, toilets, registration, by the elevators on each floor of the Foyer and in the car park;
  • Mouth and nose covering is mandatory on the premises of the ICE Krakow. We recommend you to access the World Health Organization (WHO) website for more information regarding types of masks, instructions and how to wear them;
  • Masks and hand sanitizers will be provided to all delegates;
  • The maximum number of users is indicated in front of the elevators and in the elevators themselves;
  • A safe distance of 1,5 metres is marked near the ticket offices, registration desk and reception desk in order to make it easier for viewers to queue safely;
  • The direction of entry into the foyer is organised in a way so that the people entering do not pass those leaving directly.

The ICE Krakow has developed a comprehensive document highlighting health and safety regulations in place at the venue. Please access it here.
