EAACI/UEMS Exam
Update on EAACI/UEMS Exam 2020
22 April 2020
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, EAACI has made the decision to deliver its Annual Congress in a digital format this year. Therefore, the EAACI/UEMS Exam 2020 will not be delivered as originally planned on 6 June in London. EAACI is currently exploring different options for potentially delivering the Exam at a later date during this year and will communicate more concrete information shortly.
We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding and hope you will join us for our Digital Congress from 6 – 8 June 2020.

EAACI administers the annual European Knowledge Examination in Allergology and Clinical Immunology which will take place for the thirteenth time at the EAACI Congress 2020 in London. The exam includes about 120 multiple-choice questions in English and candidates have 3 hours to complete it. The exam does not replace or substitute any currently existing national examinations that are regularly held by national bodies. Everyone has the opportunity to use it as a tool for self-evaluation.
There are 2 types of exams: the EAACI Knowledge Exam and the EAACI Pediatric Exam. Both of them are held in English and take up to 3 hours to be completed.
The EAACI Knowledge Exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions in allergology (70%) and basic / clinical immunology (30%). While the pediatric track (EAACI Pediatric Exam) incorporated into the exam, by EAACI in collaboration with its Pediatric Section, consists of 120 multiple-choice questions, of which 100 questions are based on allergology and basic / clinical immunology, (70% and 30%, respectively), and 20 are specialised pediatric questions.
