The third GA2LEN/EAACI Allergy School for 2006 will be held in Hannover, Germany, 29 September to 2 October 2006, with the support of the German Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (DGAKI). The main topic of this Allergy School is “Allergy, from diagnosis to treatment”, aimed to guide participants through a broad spectrum of clinical allergology. In an interactive way participants will get to know diagnostic and treatment procedures in allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma, skin allergy, drug- and food allergy.
Scientific ProgrammeThe topics include:
Immunology and diagnostics Diagnosis and treatment of rhinitis Asthma phenotypes and therapy Skin allergy Drug and Food Allergy Pediatric Allergy Immunotherapy and treatment Hot clinical case reports
For the first time voting procedures are implemented within this Allergy school to guarantee a lively and interactive participation. In addition, interactive work outs on clinical case reports are offered.

CME AccreditationThe event will be CME accredited. 18 European CME Credits will be granted by UEMS/EACCME.
VenueThe Hotel Mercure Hannover City is uniquely located in the city centre of Hannover. The hotel is easy to reach both by car and public transportation (bus or subway).
Take bus line 132 or 250 to W.-Brandt-allee or underground line S1, S2 or S8 to station AEGI or S5 to Hauptbahnhof.
Travelling time to the Hotel Mercure from the airport is about 20 minutes by taxi. The summer course will be held on the ground floor of the hotel. Hotel guests may use the Health Club with sauna and fitness facilities free of charge. Internet connection is available in all rooms €3,50/hrs or €25/DAY
AccommodationAccommodation in a shared double room with another course participant and full board is included in the registration fee. Single room supplement is EURO 20 per day. For special request please contact Congrex Sweden AB.
Social activities All major tourist attractions such as the beautiful Maschsee lake, the Hannover-NANAS, museums, shopping centres, cinemas and clubs are within walking distance- only a 2-5 minutes walk from the hotel. Unique for Hannover is the garden of Herrenhausen, one of the best preserved baroque garden layouts in Europe, in which Niki de Saint Phalle’s fantasy grotto is presented.
Abstract Submission Submission of abstracts for poster presentation is not obligatory but strongly encouraged. Abstract quality and poster presentation will be taken into account for awarding poster prizes.

GrantsA limited number of travel grants will be provided for EAACI Junior members (under 35 of age) and Ga2LEN PhD students with an abstract (abstract quality will be taken into account).
Registration Juniors; An all-inclusive fee of EUR 150 is required for registration. All meals, social events and shared accommodation (3 nights) in a double room are included.
Non-juniors; An all-inclusive fee of EUR 600 is required for registration. All meals, social events and accommodation (3nights) in a single room are included.
On-line registration is open until 25 September, 2006, but please register as soon as possible since the number of places to this course is limited to 90 persons. No registrations will be accepted after this date! All participants will need to pay the registration fee to the course when they register in order to guarantee their place.
Deadline for cancellation: September 1:st. After this date we cannot refund the registration fee.

3) Banker’s draft, which should be sent together with the registration form by ordinary mail. We are not able to accept personal cheques, company cheques or Eurocheques. Please do not forget to indicate the payment reference number 0683-xxx and your name on all money transfers.
Admission to the Allergy School is granted only if Congrex has received the registration fee. Delegates who have made late payments, should bring a proof of payment to the Allergy School. Failure to present this on request gives Congrex the right to charge the amount to your credit card.
