By public transport from the city centre (main station) to the ICM
The ICM is located 25 minutes by public transport from Münich Main Station, with excellent transport connections. The U2 subway (U-Bahn) line direction to Messestadt West runs 21 hours/day from 04:00-01:00, and takes you directly to the ICM.

By Train from the Airport to the ICM
Directly below the central area of the Münich Airport, you will find the suburban train (S-Bahn) line S8. A train departs every 10 minutes towards the city centre. Take the S8 from the airport to the stop Hauptbahnhof (Central Station),  and from there, take the U2 direction towards Messestadt West. The travel from the airport to the ICM takes approximately 60 minutes.

By Taxi
Take one of the 3,500 Münich taxis and travel comfortably between the airport and the ICM. The average ride costs about €63 (for the shortest route) and a one-way trip takes about 35 minutes, depending on traffic. However, the fastest route via the highway costs about €80, so the route must be specified to the taxi driver before the departure. The luggage is included in the fixed price and is not to be charged separately.
